We were very eager to hit the ground running in the beginning of 2020. However, the spring of 2020 was a defining moment for Brenda Jean's Sober Living Facility. New COVID-19 protocols were implemented in our operations, our Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen, and in how we support other community organizations. Despite the uncertainties that COVID-19 brought, Brenda Jean's Sober Living Facility adapted and found innovative ways to implement virtual internship programs (which helped 38 college and university students finish their degrees), serve 4,222 individuals with our Food Pantry, and distributed 78 meals through our Soup Kitchen.
