Smile Makers

Smile Makers Mobile Dentistry is a program of Brenda Jean’s since it originated within Brenda Jean’s Sober Living Facility. Our residents, interns, and staff, and board members have all benefited from the services of Smile Makers, as well as other collaborators of Brenda Jean’s.  Dr. Michelle Bowens is the only mobile dental unit in Kern County, serving the elderly and homeless populations throughout Kern County.  Smile Maker’s purpose is to provide quality dental care to vulnerable and hard to reach populations. This is another way that Brenda Jean’s gives back to our community.  Smile Makers takes most dental insurance.
